Dear Sirs,

My name is Christian Schutt and i am working as a photographer’s representative in paris. I am writing to you in regards of LE STUDIO, which i hear is in danger of being closed down. I cannot stress enough what a loss this would mean for the photographic scene in Paris.
My agency, Bird Production, represents photographers from all over Europe and of international statue such as bettina Rheims, Serge Leblon, Camille Vivier and Mickael Baumgarten. Our client list includes Volvo, Van cleef & Arpels, Hernies and BMW – just to name a few- as well as magazines from all around the world.
Before i opened my agency, i worked for German Marie Claire Magazine and German Cosmopolitan magazine. There i collaborated with world famous photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Karl Lagerfeld and Helmut Newton.
I am very concerned by the threat of Le Studio closing down. Already during my time at magazines i worked with Le Studio – which was called Rouchon at the time- frequently and was always impressed by the way how professionally all our requests were fulfilled and how pleasant dealing with the staff was. As an agent i always suggest and recommend Le Studio to my photographers and every time working there makes fulfilling difficult photographic tasks a lot easier. Years of work experience, a great location and the fact that everything seems to be easily accessible makes working there a pleasure. It is very important that a big studio surface like Le Studio remains intact.

I sincerely hope that Le Studio, which is known internationally in the photographic world, will remain functioning for many years to come and will keep bringing clients from all over the world to Paris because of it’s unique and efficient structure.
